Join our mission to support Haleakalā National Park

Haleakalā National Park has been a part of Maui’s landscape for over 100 years, but until recently, there was no organization dedicated to raising funds specifically for the park’s conservation and educational initiatives.

Haleakalā Conservancy is changing that, with a mission to support projects that go beyond what government funding and entrance fees can provide.

Our work is focused on three pillars, all aimed at ensuring that future generations can experience and appreciate the unique beauty of Haleakalā.

  • Historic Outrigger Canoe at Haleakalā Visitor Center

    Preservation

Maintaining the Park in collaboration with NPS and honoring its cultural resources.

  • Nēnē family in Haleakalā National Park

    Conservation

Protecting a refuge for native plant species and endangered wildlife in the Park.

  • Group of volunteers at Haleakalā summut

    Education & Access

Inspiring future Park ambassadors through educational programs and community outreach.

Haleakalā National Park faces unprecedented challenges

Invasive species, climate change, and a lack of sufficient government funding challenge the health of Haleakalā. As the Park’s philanthropic partner, we support programs that preserve wildlife, ecosystems, history, and culture.
